today we were going to go to hardwick bay but since it was really windy we stayed at Wambana instead. we had some time during the morning to do class work and in the afternoon we had a bakeoff! we dicided to make a beach for our cake and it looked really good. we used meringues for the wave breaks and added some cocoa to make the brown caves along the cliff. we used a chocalte cake for the base and had vanilla cupcakes for the back of the cliff, it looked so cool! the other groups had other ideas, one of them made a rainbow cake with a starfish on the top, another a beach with brownie people on it representing indigenous and white people getting along, a hand with each finger respresenting something different and the teachers made a lemon curd layer cake, we sure were full!
hope ur well Julia

today we went snorkelling at some really cool rock pools, we went to one where there was really big swells and it was a bit bigger than a swimming pool, we saw heaps of fish and then left to go to another beach, there we saw a dead fish and lots of different coloured corral, and Sophie and Georgia got stuck in a rip but managed to make it out fine. had a great time if a bit cold!
